We are seeking a Senior EICA Engineer to join a major water sector programme, supporting the delivery of high-quality electrical engineering designs across wastewater treatment works, sewage networks, and clean water projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role in electrical design delivery while mentoring junior engineers and working alongside multidisciplinary teams on critical infrastructure projects.

  • Deliver high-quality electrical design packages in accordance with safety, regulatory, and technical standards.
  • Lead electrical design activities across water sector projects.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, graduates, and CAD technicians.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare technical reports, design investigations, and engineering specifications.
  • Manage and document design changes throughout project lifecycles.
  • Estimate design resource requirements and support project planning.
  • Represent the engineering team during client and stakeholder meetings.

Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical design engineering.

Proven water/utilities sector experience.

Experience working on wastewater treatment works (WWTW), sewage networks, and/or clean water infrastructure.

HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Control systems and telecommunications engineering knowledge.

Understanding of construction methodologies and site-based design considerations.

Familiarity with engineering drawing standards and best practices.
