As Construction Manager - Civils, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of civil works within a designated section of a major UK nuclear project. Your duties will include:

  • Logistics planning
  • Programme management
  • Monitoring site activities
  • Liaising with authorities and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Evaluating and mitigating risks and issues
  • Producing detailed reports
  • Maintaining excellent communication across all site functions

Your daily actions will involve coordinating with multiple stakeholders, leading safety inspections, attending key meetings, and ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil or construction management within large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally in the energy sector
  • Extensive knowledge of construction sequencing, resource management, and safety regulation compliance
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Construction Management, or equivalent vocational training and experience
  • SMSTS or IOSH qualification
