Can you confidently oversee installation, commissioning, and contractor performance on high-value engineering projects? A leading engineering contractor is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Manager to play a pivotal role on a nationally significant renewable energy development in Scotland.
- Take ownership of all mechanical and electrical activities across the full project lifecycle, from design through to completion.
- Coordinate with civil, tunnelling, and geotechnical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of engineering works.
- Manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring delivery meets programme, cost, and quality expectations.
- Oversee installation and commissioning phases, ensuring systems are delivered safely and in line with requirements.
- Monitor performance against programme milestones and implement corrective actions to manage risks and delays.
Demonstrable experience leading M&E delivery on major infrastructure or construction projects. Strong technical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems within large-scale environments. Background working on complex, multi-discipline projects with high safety and compliance standards. Knowledge of UK regulations and engineering standards relevant to construction and energy sectors. Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
