The Role
This role involves taking supervised responsibility for the commercial functions on specific projects or project sections. You will contribute to the successful delivery of results by developing commercial strategies, preparing stand-alone reports, reviewing accounts and correspondence, and managing specified subcontract accounts. You will support senior commercial staff in negotiations, contribute to the development of junior team members, and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. Your day-to-day activities will include fostering collaborative working practices and proactively safeguarding the company's commercial position throughout project delivery.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven experience in managing contractual and subcontractual terms within the construction or infrastructure sectors
- Extensive knowledge of project delivery techniques and processes involved in executing large-scale projects
- Expert-level understanding of commercial reporting and NEC 3/4 contract frameworks
- A strong track record in developing and implementing commercial strategies
- Demonstrated ability to support negotiations and manage key client and subcontractor relationships
- Commitment to safety, sustainability, and ongoing professional development
