A leading engineering contractor is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Manager to play a pivotal role on a nationally significant renewable energy development in Scotland.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Take ownership of all mechanical and electrical activities across the full project lifecycle, from design through to completion.
- Coordinate with civil, tunnelling, and geotechnical disciplines to ensure seamless integration of engineering works.
- Manage specialist subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring delivery meets programme, cost, and quality expectations.
- Oversee installation and commissioning phases, ensuring systems are delivered safely and in line with requirements.
- Monitor performance against programme milestones and implement corrective actions to manage risks and delays.
You will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Demonstrable experience leading M&E delivery on major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems within large-scale environments.
- Background working on complex, multi-discipline projects with high safety and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of UK regulations and engineering standards relevant to construction and energy sectors.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
