Are you a proven Project Manager with extensive experience leading complex engineering infrastructure upgrades within a highly regulated environment, particularly in defence or nuclear sectors? Do you possess expert knowledge of end-to-end project delivery, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, supported by formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or APM PMQ? Do you have previous experience with large crane systems, lifting or mechanical handling equipment? As the Project Manager for the Shiplift upgrade, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a significant infrastructure programme. Your daily actions will involve managing multiple stakeholders, coordinating complex engineering activities, overseeing safety and compliance measures, and maintaining rigorous programme controls to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Proven experience leading project delivery in regulated environments such as defence, nuclear, or equivalent sectors.
  • Extensive understanding of project lifecycle management, change control, and risk mitigation.
  • Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ, MSP, or similar.
  • Experience managing multi-agency teams and stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance standards relevant to critical infrastructure projects.
