The Role
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing large-scale projects within the organisation's nuclear power programme. Your responsibilities include leading commercial teams, developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing complex contracts, and ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement. You will be instrumental in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven expertise in managing major projects within the nuclear, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Extensive experience working with FIDIC and NEC 3 & 4 suite of contracts.
- Expert understanding of UK legal frameworks impacting project contracts and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop commercial strategies, manage procurement, and handle risk, change, and claims management effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and developing diverse professional teams.
- Membership of a relevant professional body, such as RICS, CICES, IOB, or CIPS, is desirable.
