This is a key role within our business, where you’ll focus on building and developing long-term client relationships, identifying top-tier talent, and delivering a consistently high-quality recruitment service across permanent and contract markets. You’ll be trusted to run and grow your desk with autonomy, supported by experienced billing managers and leaders who work alongside you not above you. At Millbank, we prioritise relationships over short-term wins. Our approach is built on delivering genuine value to clients and candidates, not chasing KPIs for the sake of it. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from developing new business and negotiating commercial terms through to sourcing, securing, and placing high-calibre candidates. You’ll also take ownership of maintaining a well-managed CRM/ATS system, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong pipeline visibility. You’ll have access to leading recruitment technology, structured support, and ongoing training to help you continue progressing your career and maximising your desk potential.

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who already has a strong track record at Senior Consultant level and is ready for the next step. Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven success as a Senior Recruitment Consultant within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in sectors such as nuclear, energy, chemical, defence, utilities, infrastructure or construction (desirable but not essential)
  • A strong background in business development and winning new clients
  • Confidence negotiating commercial terms and building profitable client relationships
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy, fast-moving desk
  • A solid understanding of recruitment legislation and compliance

What you can expect from us: At Millbank, you’ll be working alongside experienced billing managers who lead from the front and actively support you in building your desk and delivering results. We invest heavily in our people from modern technology and systems to ongoing training and professional development. You’ll be supported, challenged, and given the tools to succeed. We’re proud members of APSCo and committed to delivering quality through people. That’s not just a phrase for us it’s how we work every day.

About Millbank: With over 40 years in the industry, we’ve built long-standing relationships based on trust, integrity, knowledge, and respect.
