The Opportunity Due to sustained project growth and an expanding portfolio of major nuclear and infrastructure programmes, we are seeking experienced Principal CS&A Engineers to play a pivotal role in the delivery of nationally important projects across our office network within the UK - Stockton, Newcastle, Bristol, Gloucester, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington. The Role Working for a well-established engineering and project delivery organisation with a strong presence across the nuclear sector, you'll join a collaborative, technically driven environment where safety, innovation and engineering excellence sit at the heart of everything we do. As a Principal CS&A Engineer, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, influence key project decisions, manage critical stakeholder interfaces and drive the successful delivery of complex design solutions within highly regulated environments. We're looking for Chartered Engineers with proven leadership experience, strong technical credibility in Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering, and a track record of delivering design packages within regulated industries, ideally nuclear Your duties and responsibilities will be Leading a team of CS&A engineers and architects in the definition, implementation and delivery of specified functional works that achieves safety, functional and business requirements. Key role holder within the Engineering team on the project. Delivery of the civil, structural, and architectural design. Manage the interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team. Understanding of the commercial implications of products, scope and package Delivery of substantiation and other approvals. Risk identification with proposed resolution / mitigation. Production of Schedule and identification of key milestones. Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports, BIM etc.)You will have the following qualifications & experience Higher Education Qualification in Engineering (or equivalent) subject- MEng (preferred) Appropriate (Engineering or Scientific) Institution Membership- Chartered Engineer Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery including recent positions influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system (preferably nuclear) in roles where professional judgement is the key attributeThe setting for the role The role will be office based with visits to site as required.
