An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Services Engineer to join a successful and growing organisation on a permanent basis. This role has been created to support ongoing investment in site operations and engineering excellence, ensuring critical facilities and equipment remain safe, reliable, and fully operational. This position would suit a multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical background who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys variety. You'll work across a broad range of site services equipment, taking ownership of planned and reactive maintenance activities while helping to drive site performance and safety standards.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities across site services equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Maintain and repair a range of equipment including lighting, small power systems, dock levellers, and refrigeration plant.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with engineering standards and site procedures.
  • Support operational teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture at all times.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Trade apprenticeship.
  • Minimum 5 years' practical engineering experience.
  • NC or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven fault-finding ability.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

It’s great if you also have the following:

  • C&G 2079 F-Gas and ODS Regulations certification.
  • Working knowledge of BS EN 378.
  • Counterbalance FLT Licence.
  • IPAF 3a/3b certification.
  • Experience maintaining refrigeration systems.
  • Experience within distribution, logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, or other fast-paced industrial environments.
