The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy supporting complex engineering and operational improvement programmes.

This contract position offers location flexibility across the UK and is ideal for an experienced simulation specialist with strong SIMUL8 (TRAM) expertise.

Senior Process Engineer, Process Simulation Engineer, Simulation Engineer, Operational Research Consultant, Systems Modelling Engineer, Performance Engineer, Process Improvement Engineer, Throughput Engineer, Modelling and Simulation Consultant, Industrial Engineer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Create, develop and enhance process simulation models using the SIMUL8 (TRAM) platform.

Evaluate operational performance, capacity and resource utilisation to identify improvement opportunities.

Carry out modelling studies and scenario testing to support engineering and business decisions.

Produce clear technical documentation and communicate findings to a range of stakeholders.

Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver simulation and process engineering objectives.

You will have the following qualifications and experience
Proven experience in a senior process engineering, simulation or modelling-focused role.

Strong practical knowledge of SIMUL8, SIMUL 8 or SIMUL-8, including the TRAM package.

Experience in developing and interpreting discrete event simulation models within complex environments.

Ability to analyse engineering processes and convert data into actionable recommendations.

Eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance.
