The opportunity
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to assist, aid, and advise the ITBE manager in all matters related to project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of projects aligned with site needs at the Hinkley Point C Project. This key role is based within our embedded team at our Bristol office, with hybrid working options available between the office and home around project commitments.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Comply with project controls procedures, processes, and systems to maintain quality and data consistency.
- Produce and maintain complex schedules (Primavera P6 and Palladin).
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to establish project activities, durations, and scope, constraints, and commitments, ensuring compliance and compatibility.
- Provide planning support to all ITBE stakeholders.
- Interface with other departments to incorporate activities that impact the schedule.
- Integrate third-party schedules and data into the main schedule.
- Monitor progress towards contractual milestones from contract start to DTS.
- Develop, control, monitor, analyze, and report on schedule-related aspects.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
- Operational experience in the relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling and Primavera P6.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Experience handling complex tasks and adapting to changes.
