The Opportunity
Due to ongoing programme expansion and continued investment in wastewater network improvements, our client, working in partnership with United Utilities, is strengthening its delivery team. These opportunities offer the chance to play a key role in enhancing network performance, customer outcomes, and compliance standards across a high-profile regional framework. Your duties and responsibilities:
- To support the Programme Managers in developing a prioritised programme of work that will balance customer requirements, operational performance, and health & safety needs within the given financial constraints.
- To work closely with the County Performance and our internal teams to ascertain the most appropriate solution and delivery route.
- To liaise with the relevant teams to arrange customer appointments for all surveys, work, inspection and final checks as required and support analyst in ensuring all corporate systems are updated accordingly.
- To produce all relevant paperwork associated with the project e.g. pre site meeting; PCI pack; project handover to allow the project to be priced as accurately as possible.
- To co-ordinate S159 notices to landowners and/or occupiers for gaining access to private land, as required.
- To review and agree draft Operations and Maintenance manuals, Health and Safety file and ‘As-Built’ drawings with the Field and Maintenance team, as required, and provide feedback and archive accordingly, whilst ensuring that UUW Commercial and Wastewater Network Operations needs have been met.
- To ensure compliance with all Wastewater Network policies, strategies; procedures, Environment Agency protocol and regulatory requirements on a daily basis.
- To provide local day-to-day technical, contractual and commercial support to the respective Infrastructure Delivery teams, and other stakeholders as required and support UUW Commercial Team in resolving both escalated and complex contractual and commercial issues, as required.
- To identify synergies and best practice through establishing a close working relationship with our internal teams, our framework contractors and Alliance Partners and to identify and carry out any training needs/requirements to all relevant stakeholders as required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: There will be a requirement to meet up with your allocated project team at one of United Utilities office locations, this could be Lingley Mere, Blackburn, or others, depending on your location. The number of days required in the office depends on project requirements and could be 2-3 days per week. The setting for the role will be site-based. A safety induction will be provided.
