Are you an experienced Brand Manager who is passionate about, and has knowledge of the FMCG Food and/or Drinks sectors? Our Client is a successful, award-winning, family-owned food business, specialising in artisan, organic and ethically sourced flours and foods, operating over a portfolio of loved brands. The business is incredibly exciting and highly ambitious, whose values are firmly set in strong ethical and environmental foundations.
We are now seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager who has knowledge of the FMCG Food and/or Drinks sectors, to join this fantastic company on initially a 12-Month fixed term maternity cover basis. On offer to the successful applicant is a competitive annual salary (albeit based on relevant experience), together with a full benefits package, to include a staff discount of 50% on all product lines, and a choice given as to the hours you work i.e. 4 or 5 days a week.
As their Senior Brand Manager, you will be joining a marketing team of 7 and report to the Head of Marketing. You will manage an Assistant Brand Manager and interact with creative, PR, media and design agencies. This role will see you working closely with the rest of the business including Sales, Product Development, Production and Technical.
Detailed duties and responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the Head of Marketing in developing the strategic and overall annual plans.
- Developing, proposing and executing on-going marketing campaigns and activities across digital, print, email, PR, influencer, and other channels to deliver the agreed business & marketing plan & KPIs.
- Management of the brand social media channels β organic and paid.
- Be marketing lead on relevant NPD & EPD projects working collaboratively with other functions including Sales, Product Development, Production and Technical.
- Deliver artwork change projects for both brands including leading on refresh projects.
- Work with the recipe development team ensuring engaging recipe content is always available to help promote the baking range.
- Deliver successful activation of consumer shows/events working with the Events Co-ordinator.
- Monitor & evaluate sales performance, marketing activity and campaigns and report on successes and opportunities for improvement on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
- Stay abreast with market place developments, trends and competitor activity and build into thinking for future activity & NPD pipeline.
- Managing the marketing budget.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- You will have a sound educational background, better still be qualified with a Degree in a Marketing or Brand Creation discipline or similar, although plenty of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Should be an experienced Brand Manager, who has demonstrable previous exposure to performing in such a job function or similar within the FMCG Food and/or Drinks sectors.
- You will be an excellent communicator both verbally and written who can write for publication.
- You will combine strong commercial analytical skills with creative flair and story-telling ability.
- You should be able to take the initiative, solve problems effectively, and are happy to get stuck in and be hands on.
- You will be very well organised and pay attention to detail whilst managing a busy and varied agenda.
- You should have excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar, and social media platforms.
- A passion for food/drink and marketing is essential.
