The Role
As an EC&I Work Pack Engineer, you will develop detailed EC&I Installation Work Packs (IWPs) based on client-submitted Construction Work Packs (CWPs). This role offers an exciting challenge to contribute to a pioneering LAES project, providing opportunities to lead complex work pack development and collaborate with diverse teams to drive project success.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring work packs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards, integrating drawings, specifications, and procedures for on-site execution, and collaborating with project and construction teams to plan and schedule activities.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure resources are available, identify and mitigate potential risks, and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders and project management.
- Attend client meetings and ensuring alignment across departments will also be integral to your role.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EC&I engineering, construction, or maintenance, with at least 2 years in a work-pack creation role.
- HND/C in EC&I discipline or related field, or relevant apprenticeship experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Navisworks 2024, and other relevant IT tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet client deadlines.
