The Role This is a split role involving Business Administration responsibilities and the role of a Purchasing Assistant, typically split across the week (e.g., 3 days/week Business Admin, 2 days/week Purchasing). Your duties and responsibilities will include: Purchasing Effectively manage a portfolio of suppliers to deliver items and services on time, in full, and within budget, meeting quality requirements. Manage any issues that arise during supply. Support the Purchasing Manager in identifying and delivering cost reduction and supply chain improvement targets, ensuring suppliers align with the company\’s purchasing strategy. Manage specific suppliers and purchasing sectors. Business Admin Provide administrative support for the company. Produce weekly and monthly reports, including SHE statistics for the Runcorn Site report. Administer databases related to SHE, Quality, and Environmental audits, including scheduling yearly audits. Support in managing the Customer Complaints database and KPI files. Qualifications & Experience Strong problem-solving skills, attention to standards, effective communication, team-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated. Good communication skills via email, phone, and in person. Results-oriented with a focus on key objectives and priorities. Experience building and maintaining relationships across the business. Experience with administrative responsibilities. Additional Desirable Skills Knowledge of purchasing is advantageous. Benefits 25 days of basic holiday.
