The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Senior Planner to provide planning and programme management support on a major infrastructure project. This is an urgent requirement to support an established delivery team during a period of increased workload. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining programme control, monitoring project progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting project teams to ensure successful delivery. The role requires regular site presence and close collaboration with project management, commercial teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. Your duties and responsibilities will be Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes using industry-standard planning software. Monitor project progress against programme milestones and key deliverables. Prepare and update short-term and long-term construction programmes. Produce programme reports, progress updates, and management dashboards. Identify programme risks, delays, and mitigation measures. Support commercial and project management teams with programme-related analysis. Conduct critical path analysis and assess the impact of changes and variations. Facilitate planning meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Review subcontractor programmes and integrate them into the master programme. Ensure planning activities comply with contractual requirements and established procedures. Support project controls, earned value analysis, and forecasting activities.
