The Role
As Head of Engineering, you will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the engineering function and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and innovative solutions across projects.
Your duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading engineering teams
- Fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Managing risk and maintaining technical standards
- Supporting business growth through client engagement, and championing continuous improvement
- Supporting talent development and resource planning to sustain engineering capability over the long term
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering/Technical discipline
- 5+ years in a senior engineering management role within a regulated industry
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing skills, and financial acumen
- Knowledge of risk management, governance, assurance, and compliant engineering practices
- Experience supporting business development and bid activities
- Broad engineering knowledge, including familiarity with site operations, waste management, and decommissioning
