Mill Water School is an all-age special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including Autism, located in the grounds of Bicton College, East Devon. Our beautiful, rural surroundings provide unrivalled opportunities for outdoor learning.
From EYFS through to Post 16, our pupils access a bespoke learning and communication package to challenge their education progress, working in partnership with multi‑agency professionals and families.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
We’re looking for people who are energetic and enthusiastic to become one of our SEN Teaching Assistants and join our class teams. Ideally, you will have experience working with pupils with SEND but the right personal qualities can be as important.
Experience in supporting children’s learning and recording holistic achievements is desirable. An ability to work positively within a team of classroom assistants is essential in order to maximise pupil learning and contribute to an inspiring learning environment.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
