We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead operations at Bradley’s, our vibrant 170-seater sports bar renowned for its atmosphere, traditional English food, and outstanding customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service in a sports-led venue.
About The Role
As Bar Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Bradley’s. From leading and developing your team to ensuring service, food, and beverage standards are consistently delivered, you’ll play a key role in the commercial success of the venue. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, Head Chef, Inventory Controller, and General Manager to ensure Bradley’s operates efficiently, compliantly, and profitably — particularly during matchdays and televised sporting events.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan, direct, and oversee all operations within Bradley’s.
- Ensure compliance with all SOPs across service, food, and bar operations.
- Create a welcoming, efficient environment that maximises revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service standards.
- Manage the televised sports schedule, ensuring it is planned, approved, advertised, and delivered consistently.
- Ensure all audio-visual equipment is fully operational at all times.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Prepare and submit weekly operational reports to the Operations Manager.
