Mill Bank Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our friendly and supportive Primary Care Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient centred care within a busy GP practice.

Main duties of the job:

  • Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients across all age groups
  • Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions effectively
  • Prescribe medications independently (where qualified)
  • Undertake and interpret clinical examinations and investigations
  • Work collaboratively with GP's, nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Support service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records

About us:

We are ideally situated in the town centre next to the park. We have approximately 10,200 patients, 3 Partners, 3 Salaried GP's, 2 ANP's, a nursing team and a full admin team as well as numerous ARRs staff supporting. We offer a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC)
  • Qualified ANP/ACP with MSc level qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Independent prescriber (or working towards)
  • Experience in Primary Care, urgent care or similar settings
  • Excellent clinical decision making and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
