Required Qualifications/Specification:
- Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
- A full clean driving licence is required.
- Must be over 25 years old in order to drive our company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Activity Planning and Delivery - Designing and implementing a diverse range of activities that cater to the physical, social, mental, and emotional well-being of residents.
- Person-Centered Care - Ensuring that activities are tailored to the individual needs, interests, and life stories of residents, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Engagement and Participation - Encouraging residents to participate in activities, fostering a sense of community, and creating opportunities for meaningful interactions.
- Community Engagement - Building relationships with residents, their families, and the wider community to enhance the overall experience and support network.
- Mentoring and Support - Potentially mentoring and training other staff members on how to engage with residents and support them in their daily lives.
- Record Keeping and Reporting - Maintaining records of resident participation and documenting the impact of activities on their well-being.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Organizational Skills - Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage activities effectively.
