Overview
GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. is looking for a Drivers Mate to join the Store to Home team in Warrington (WA2 8RD). This is a full-time, permanent role following a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 Monday to Friday / Week 2 Tuesday to Saturday, with a start time of 07:00. The role is contracted to 40 hours per week.

What You\'ll Do On a Typical Day
- Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises (room of choice) on a multidrop basis, averaging 16 drops per day off peak and 24 drops per day in peak season
- Assist the delivery driver with parking and manoeuvring a company vehicle, loading and unloading as required
- Provide effective customer service and ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition
- Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and communicate any issues politely and promptly
What You Need To Succeed At GXO
- Experience with multi-drop home delivery preferred but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to perform manual handling tasks (pulling, lifting, pushing)
- Can-do attitude with problem-solving skills
- Willingness to undertake pre-employment DBS check
- Be prepared to commute to Warrington (WA2 8RD) for the required shift pattern
