Milk Education is partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Hindley Green (WN2) to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Year 5 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately. This role will be a temporary position until May half-term 2026, with a view to transitioning to a permanent role.

This Year 5 Teaching Assistant role focuses on providing one-to-one support for a child with SEMH needs. We are looking for someone patient, caring, and highly adaptable to meet the pupil’s individual learning requirements. As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in nurturing the child’s academic progress and emotional well-being within a supportive and structured school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support for a Year 5 pupil with SEMH needs
  • Keep the child engaged and on task throughout the school day
  • Prepare daily resources and support learning activities
  • Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment
