Year 1 Teacher – Liverpool (L4)

Milk Education is looking for a motivated and creative Year 1 Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Liverpool (L4) . This is a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

The Role

  • Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: January
  • Contract: Long-Term Position
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 across the Primary Curriculum.
  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development through creative teaching.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and calmly.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to support pupil success.
  • What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS.
  • Strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum, particularly for Key Stage 1.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Creative, reflective, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
