We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Worksop that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while working alongside experienced teachers and supportive colleagues.
The RoleAs a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Provide targeted support for children with additional learning needs, including SEND where required.
- Assist with phonics, reading, writing and maths interventions.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils' confidence and independence.
- Prepare classroom resources and assist with day-to-day classroom organisation.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has recent experience working within a UK primary school.
- Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum and classroom practices.
- Has experience supporting children with SEND (desirable).
- Demonstrates excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to helping every child succeed.
