Milk Education are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals to join our team of Cover Supervisors in and around the Woking, Surrey area (GU22). The Role:
- Attend local primary & secondary schools in the Guildford, Surrey GU5 area to cover lessons for absent teachers.
- Deliver pre-prepared work to classes and take registers.
- Manage behaviour and ensure a safe, calm learning environment.
- Maintain school policies and support pupils throughout the day.
- Step confidently into different classrooms and year groups.
You won’t be expected to plan lessons, mark work, or have prior teaching experience — although any experience working with young people is highly desirable.
What We’re Looking For as a Cover Supervisor:
- A resilient, confident, and positive personality.
- Good behaviour-management skills or willingness to learn.
- Strong punctuality and reliability.
- Experience working with young people (desirable, not essential).
- Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) are also encouraged to apply and will receive a higher pay rate.
