Are you a recent Maths graduate or aspiring teacher looking to take your first steps in utilising your degree? As an Aspiring Teacher / Maths Graduate, you will:
- Support students in Mathematics lessons across a range of year groups.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Help students develop problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Provide targeted support for students who need additional guidance.
- Contribute to creating an engaging and positive learning environment.
- Gain first-hand experience of classroom practice and school life.
What We Are Looking For
- Hold a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Have a genuine passion for Mathematics and education.
- Are considering a future career in teaching or simply taking your first steps in using your degree.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are patient, enthusiastic, and able to inspire young people.
- Can work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
