Milk Education is looking for an experienced HLTA to work full‑time at a primary school in Wigan (WN1). The HLTA role will consist of covering lessons across Year 3 to Year 6 (KS2) when the teachers are out doing PPA or need management release time. In this HLTA role you will be required to cover a range of subjects within Year 3 to Year 6 (KS2) so knowledge and experience covering the KS2 curriculum within a UK mainstream primary school setting is essential. This role is starting immediately and will continue until December 2026. The KS2 HLTA role will be full time 08:30am until 15:30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a long‑term role and could potentially go permanent for the ideal applicant.
Applicants will need to possess:
- Previous KS2 Teaching or HLTA experience
- HLTA Status, QTS Status or Level 6 Degree
- The ability to develop positive relationships with staff and students alike
- Strong behaviour management skills
