Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated Primary School Learning Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner primary schools in North Tyneside from September 2026.
This varied full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting children throughout the school day, both in the classroom and through targeted intervention sessions.
You’ll play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, develop new skills and achieve their learning goals.
The Role
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Deliver planned intervention sessions for individuals and small groups
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
- Support children with a range of learning abilities and additional needs
- Encourage independence, participation and positive behaviour
- Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
About You
- Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting is desirable
- Patient, reliable and enthusiastic
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to adapt to the needs of different learners
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
