Role Overview
Milk Education, a wellbeing‑led and eco‑friendly education agency, is seeking passionate and resilient graduates to join a specialist SEMH school in Hillingdon as a Positive Behaviour Mentor. This role offers an opportunity to inspire change, build trust and become a role model for young people.
Location and Pay
Location: Hillingdon
Pay: £101.40 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:45 pm (term time only)
Start Dates: June 2026 & September 2026
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people, helping them feel heard, valued, and supported
- Encourage emotional literacy and self‑awareness through mentoring and restorative conversations
- Support pupils in developing resilience, self‑regulation, and positive decision‑making skills
- Work 1:1 and in small groups, delivering intervention programmes that promote pro‑social behaviour and personal growth
- Celebrate progress, no matter how small, and help pupils recognise their own strengths
- Collaborate with staff to create a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive
- Support community safety work, helping young people make positive choices and avoid risks such as exploitation or peer pressure
