Milk Education is recruiting caring and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join fantastic primary schools across West Bridgford, working on a long-term or short-term basis, starting immediately. This is a brilliant opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across the primary curriculum.
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
- Support pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional development throughout the school day.
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement, ensuring a calm and nurturing learning environment.
- Assist with supervision during playtimes, lunchtimes, and school trips.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient, caring attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of teachers and senior staff.
- A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
