Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Primary Teacher to join a primary school in Wallsend to work on a short-term basis starting ASAP. This is a full-time opportunity where you’ll be focused on supporting primary schools when required, making a real difference in children’s lives. This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
- A commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
