Milk Education are delighted to be recruiting a Learning Support Assistant on behalf of a specialist provision in North Tyneside for children and young people with complex additional needs. The school supports pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism and complex medical conditions.
This is a full-time Learning Support Assistant role, offering the opportunity to work within a highly skilled, experienced and supportive staff team who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment.
Learning Support Assistant Role:- Supporting pupils with a range of complex learning and medical needs
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, parents and carers
- Providing personalised support to help pupils access learning and develop life skills
- Assisting with personal care and medical needs where required
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
