We’re currently recruiting for a Classroom Assistant to join a Primary School in Newcastle on a long- or short-term basis starting in September.

- Your main responsibilities will include
- Provide classroom support by assisting the teacher with lesson delivery, preparing resources, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ learning and development by working with individuals or small groups, encouraging engagement, and promoting independence.
- Monitor and report student progress, behaviour, and any concerns to the teacher, while maintaining accurate records and respecting confidentiality.
Requirements or Skills
- Maintain professionalism by safeguarding student welfare, respecting confidentiality, following school policies, and adapting to the diverse needs of learners
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills when working with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Support the classroom teacher by preparing learning materials, setting up activities, and helping maintain an organized, safe, and engaging learning environment.
