Location: Hillingdon

Pay: £101.40 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:45pm (term time only)

You are a Criminology or Social Science graduate looking to make a real, positive difference in the lives of young people? Milk Education seeks passionate and resilient graduates to join a specialist SEMH school in Hillingdon as a Positive Behaviour Mentor.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build trusting, consistent relationships with young people, helping them feel heard, valued, and supported
  • Encourage emotional literacy and self‑awareness through mentoring and restorative conversations
  • Support pupils in developing resilience, self‑regulation, and positive decision‑making skills
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups, delivering intervention programmes that promote pro‑social behaviour and personal growth
  • Celebrate progress, no matter how small, and help pupils recognise their own strengths
  • Collaborate with staff to create a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive
  • Support community safety work, helping young people make positive choices and avoid risks such as exploitation or peer pressure
