Milk Education is urgently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and forward-thinking school-based nursery in the Newcastle area. This full-time position is based in Reception and suits someone with strong early years experience who can start quickly.

About the Setting

The nursery uses a blended approach to early education that brings together child-initiated exploration with purposeful adult-led learning. Continuous provision is planned with care so each child can access a rich and engaging curriculum indoors and outdoors. The environment is communication-friendly, supportive and inclusive, helping children feel safe, confident and ready to grow.

The Role

You will work with babies from around nine months old and support their social, emotional, physical and early academic development. You will build warm interactions, encourage curiosity and guide children toward early milestones through sensory activities, outdoor learning and play-based experiences.
