Overview

Unqualified Cover Teacher

Milk Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant for a Mainstream Primary School in the Cramlington area to provide school support for absent staff members from 08:00 to 15:30 each day. The role will require between 3 and 5 days commitment per week, Monday to Friday. The school prides itself with the diversity and inclusion of both their staff and students, and aims to support their children in the best way with their educational journey. The school has good pupil behaviour and a national average amount of students with special needs. This role would ideally suit students who are looking for a job to fit around their studies, aspiring teachers or educators who are looking to improve work/life balance, and recent graduates looking to gain more experience in the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Must be happy to cover across multiple schools if needed.
  • Overseeing classroom and behaviour management
  • No planning or marking required

  • Prior experience working with children and young people
  • Must hold a full UK drivers license or have reasonable public transport links
