- Pupil Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in
North Tyneside from September 2026.
The successful candidate will support pupils both academically and pastorally, helping children feel confident, engaged and ready to learn throughout the school day.
The Role
- Provide support to pupils across the primary age range
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce classroom learning
- Encourage positive attitudes towards school and learning
- Support pupils who may need additional help with confidence or engagement
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and preparation
- Promote positive behaviour and strong relationships
- Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
