We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work across a range of primary schools in South Tyneside. These roles are ideal for candidates seeking immediate starts, long-term placements, or flexible work to fit around other commitments. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, including general classroom support and SEND support roles.
The Role
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
- Assist with the learning, development, and wellbeing of pupils
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND where required
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment
- Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management

Requirements
- Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
