Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Liverpool on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide general classroom support assisting with day-to-day learning activities and helping to deliver engaging English and maths support sessions.

You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team who are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils.
  • Support children’s learning through group work, interventions, and focused support.
  • Assist with the delivery of reading, writing, and maths activities.
  • Encourage inclusion and positive behaviour within the classroom.
  • Help with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and assessment activities.

Essential Requirements

  • Recent and relevant experience working in an educational setting.
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or equivalent.
  • A passion for supporting KS2 pupils and helping them reach their potential.
  • Ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work effectively as part of a team.
