Milk Education are recruiting for a qualified teacher to join us on a full time / part time basis starting as soon as possible! The classes will be made up of small groups (up to 8 students) with a range of SEN needs- including ASC, PMLD, SEMH, ADHD, learning difficulties and complex needs.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Teach pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with small groups of children or on a one to one basis to help them understand how to regulate their behaviour
  • Work as part of a team who share an empathy for students with special educational needs
  • Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with Special Needs OR experience in a transferable industry; to include but not exclusive to: policing, armed forces, care, performing, sporting or the UK justice system
  • A minimum degree level qualification (ideally holding QTS) with 6 months of teaching experience
