Milk Education are working with an inclusive primary school in Sutton who are looking for a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil throughout the school day.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and develop greater confidence and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent 1:1 support within the classroom.
  • Help the pupil access lessons and classroom activities.
  • Support communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.
  • Encourage independence and positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo.
  • Adapt activities and resources where necessary.

About You

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable.
  • SEND experience would be advantageous.
  • Patient, calm and compassionate approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Reliable and proactive.
  • Passionate about supporting children’s development.
