Milk Education are currently recruiting passionate and enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for a range of long-term and day-to-day teaching opportunities across Primary Schools in South West London. Whether you are looking to secure your first long-term position or gain experience across a variety of school settings before committing to a permanent role, we can support you in finding the right opportunity. Trial days and school visits are available from June, allowing you to build relationships with schools ahead of September.

You’ll have the opportunity to work within supportive and welcoming schools that are committed to helping ECTs develop confidence, classroom presence, and strong foundations for a successful teaching career.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Adapt learning to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support learning and development.
  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • QTS achieved or pending completion of ECT year.
  • Recent teaching placements or classroom experience within UK Primary Schools.
  • Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum.
  • Confident communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
