About the Role

We are looking for a blended learning, dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team in Egham, Surrey. This role is perfect for a recent graduate who is passionate about education and keen to gain hands-on experience working with children and young people with special educational needs. You will play a vital role in helping students with a range of learning needs access the curriculum, supporting both their academic progress and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with additional needs
  • Assist teachers with planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Support students’ engagement, confidence, and emotional development
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
  • Support the monitoring of EHCP targets and student progress
  • Encourage independence and resilience in learners

  • A recent graduate (all subjects welcome; Psychology, Education, English, Maths, and Science desirable)
  • Passionate about working with young people and supporting diverse learning needs
  • Empathetic, patient, and adaptable
  • Confident communicator and effective team player
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and able to follow guidance
  • Experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, schools, clubs) is beneficial but not essential
