Milk Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across South Tyneside and the surrounding areas. Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
- Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the classroom
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Encourage student engagement, confidence and independence
- Support pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
- Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their goals
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students
- Support positive behaviour and follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while developing your skills in education, communication, behaviour support and pastoral care.

Teaching Assistant Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
