Are you a Psychology graduate passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs? MILK Education is recruiting Psychology Graduates to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in secondary schools across the North East. This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain practical experience before pursuing careers in educational psychology, mental health, teaching, youth work or social care.

The Role:

  • You will work closely with students who require additional emotional and behavioural support, including:
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group SEMH support
  • Supporting students with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping pupils engage positively with learning
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
  • Promoting a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

We Are Looking For:

  • A degree in Psychology (or closely related subject)
  • A genuine interest in SEMH, behaviour support or mental health
  • Patient, resilient and empathetic individuals
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with young people (desirable, not essential)
