Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a Primary School? Milk Education is working with welcoming Primary Schools across Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Durham, and we’re looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
The Role
- Support pupils with their learning and development
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Support pupils with SEND and additional needs
- Assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with teachers and school staff
We’re Looking For
- Recent experience working in a Primary School or education setting
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A positive, reliable and adaptable approach
- Experience working with children, young people or adults in a professional capacity within the last 5 years
