Are you an enthusiastic and supportive KS1 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? Milk Education is recruiting passionate individuals to support children in Key Stage 1 across Primary Schools in Stockton.
What you’ll do:
- Support class teachers in creating a safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Assist with literacy, numeracy and classroom activities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for children who need extra help
- Contribute to observations and help track pupil progress
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with KS1 children in a school setting
- Level 2 or Level 3 childcare or teaching assistant qualification preferred
- Understanding of the KS1 curriculum and learning milestones
- A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
- Confidence supporting children with varying needs
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
