Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive Primary Schools.

About the Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide individual and small group support to pupils.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
  • Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress.

About You

We’re looking for candidates who

  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a relevant childcare qualification.
  • Have experience working with children in a school, childcare or educational setting.
  • Are confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting children’s development.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Hold, or are willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
